Heresy on the golf course

I was once a big golfing enjoying youth.  I started learning in my Junior year or so of High school and played until i was maybe 28.  It was a great day.  I loved the outdoors.  I loved that I could actually hit the ball.
That said, there are clearly a lot of rules.  I took a golf course in college.  Fun experience.  You just hit golf balls the entire class.  So funny is watching the ladies try to hit for the first time.  I hope they enjoy the game :).   That said, I was once playing with a classmate from my school years and we were driving carts.  I cant say we were the best of friends.  Never were.  But we circulated in the same circles of friendships.  We all know one another.  This fellow I must say has gone past the days of forgiveness for me.  I have yet to forgive him totally.  Why?  Becuase I have never received a communication in any form for about 12 years or more.  Its been a long while.  We do have busy lives, but this fellow last we met was beligerent with me.  I was playing golf with him and on the last hole, I approached the green on my cart.  I guess a tire landed on the fringe.  My dear friend a school teacher yelled and screamed and belittled me for my ignorant and 'embarrassing' action (to him).  I never had much to say to him after that.  I must say that if you read this and know who you are, I expect an apology.  Life is not that serious.  And its not your property and no damage was done.  A rule buffing would have been in order. I'll never do it again, but I'll never forget you.  You are guilty of heresy of loving the material world more than your own fellow persons emotional feelings.   Get a grip.  Really.
