Barracuda Express

With all I've blogged so far, stories about cheating, stories about impropriety, mental health discussions and the like, I imagine one might say "C.J., he's got a big life". I so not so much at all. I am meerly in my corner.  And you know what?  This is where I feel comfortable staying.   I'll continue to blog as I see fit, perhaps there is other creative writing I may pick up in the future.  I listen to the radio and read my newspapers and books.  Thats how I exist.  Its a good existence.  I have the potential to have a family of my own, but I will say that is not an avenue I am actively pursuing.  I have the capacity to work in the marketplace, though I will state I have found little avenue to enter that scope.  I like to read anything I can get that is considered to me to be instructive and inquisitive.  I am not much for the popular novels of many of the popular authors.  Stephen King, Mark Twain, Dean Koontz, David Liss, among many others are in my collection.  I must say that any diligent person must have a book collection.  In the old days, books were considered a hugely valued commodity.  Thomas Jefferson had a huge collection if not the largest in the colonies.  In fact, he was so far in debt at times that he would sell his books.  Nowadays a book is 10-20 dollars at best.   Buy books. Buy many.  Stay home.  Dont go to the store and browse with your life.  Get what you need.  But read alot.  Read every day.  I must say that anyone of any average intelligence that does not read on a weekly basis more than just a single newspaper is about as constructive as a baseball bat sitting in the balcony of the opera.  It has no purpose in its present location and capacity.
