Accept the Challenge

Great slogan. It got me to choose a medical school....  We were considered a more difficult program as we spent only 2 years in undergraduate before matriculating into our curriculum in medical school.  We were afforded the opportunity to matriculate if we kept a 3.0 GPA in the sciences (BCPM- biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics). And we needed to keep an overall 3.25 I believe including all other subjects.   It was a challenge.  I still have the letter sent to me from a rabbi to be friend who told me that I was out of my mind.... Perhaps.  Perhaps it was just a challenge.  It was.
Now I have in the years come to realize the inherent wisdom of such a perfect terminology to introduce a medical school.   Doctors have the job to challenge others.  Leadership will challenge the uneducated and unaffiliated persons.  Ordinary persons can transform their lives with challenge.
So if you find yourself a recipient of criticism, accept it as a challenge.  Find your way to meet the demands.
