Plan a decent future. End Material Narcissism

I wish to express my own displeasure at a growing and long lived human trait that has lived for ages, is prevalent in the highest forms and runs the social and personal development of probably 85% of the western world.  Namely, material narcissism.  This is the social phenominon by which an individual places his possesions and their acquisition in his forfront of thought and discriminates against those whose abilities and choices are that which do not yield the greatest possibilities of asquiring new possesions at the earliest convenience.
