Grasping for straws in a wind tunnel

What do you say to someone you rarely speak with but is busy with their career and family?  I don't know, but I will continue my relationships as possible in this new day and age.   I do hope that my old friends who I do wish to keep up with continue their intersts that involve myself and my own lot in life.   I must say that nothing is more important to me than most of the friendships I've had over the years.  I do find myself thinking of many of my older friends on a routine basis.  Though we do not have much social contact anymore, I can't imagine that our time is concluded in eachothers day.
