Holocaust accusations against our Creator
This topic is particularly troublesome for many people I have encountered and leads many to attempt to justify their reluctance to believe that we have a benevolent Creator or that causes them to doubt the existence of G-d. I have finally arrived at a plausable explanation for atrocities and things that people not explain in terms of "why would G-d let this happen". Realize that we live in a fractured universe. The universe was created by G-d at the beginning but suffered the fracture of sin. I would suggest this. The universe is the driving force of events on the Earth. The universe is divided due to elemets of evil and the purity of G-ds creation. When bad things happen to seemingly rightous people it is not proper to blame our Creator. Rather, realize that the universe is fighting battles and that the painful and tragic things that may occur in our times may be the result of a fracture in the substance of the universe that guides mankind. I do believe that our lives are guided by Providence and that one can improve his own providence by acts of beneficience and good deeds. This is common Jewish teaching (good book: Faith and Divine Providence by HaRav Chaim Friedlander, zt'l. Feldheim presses. (http://www.feldheim.com/). To realize that our Universe seeks to expel the evil from it shows that wars that occur in history though destructive of the human element are actually healing of the fractures in the universe. The acts of World War II can be viewed as a universal war where by inhumanity was defeated by humanity. The fact that 6 million Jewish persons as well as millions of non jewish persons perished is extremely difficult to think about. I suggest rather than blame G-d for how many people died in World War II, we should look at how many lived. Life has continued and in a much higher state of rightousness and a higher caliber of humanity since that time period. This is how the universe heals itself.
