Ingrateful uncertainties bring prosperous blog entries

I must say that I was fortunate to have a very interesting friend in my lifetime.  A fellow whose politico and religious views were not the same as my own and as well, he was in opposition to many of the prosperous choices and salutes that my own people have had in their lifetimes.  I felt estranged from his gratitude but I knew that he was always going to regard me as a worthy opponent and a righteous adversary when it came to disagreeing upon the thought processes of the day.  I am right.  Thats for certain. (You didn't think I'd say I was wrong in that regard as this merits the abilities and strengths of my own Jewish people, did you?)  But that said, I was once the recipient of a very nice item from this fellow that I had initially received in very satisfied and glad trust.  It was later that we had not been close personally and that a few remarks he suggested caused me some embarrassment.  I had the item for years, but decided I would not use it for any particular personal use.  I like the fellow, but his remarks stimied me in a few of my professional and personal realms.  He was not an adversary of my social aspirations, but he was clearly not a supportive counselor of my own unhappy challenges that I faced.  I was hoping for a best wishes modality but all I got was "good luck if you ever get your act together and I'll never forget your naivity".  So not the best of comrades as far as giving me good advice that I would certainly use in life.  And as the years progressed, no phone calls or communication for a number of years.   I was at the last embarrassed by a few remarks and decided that I was no longer 'proud' to be the recipient of the beautiful affluent gift that I was bestowed.  I had rationalized that my friends heart was not in my home and that he truly had enjoyed laughing at my own inept success or lack there "of".  So I did what I did and I discarded the item.  It did not concern me for a long time, but I always thought, was there a better way to releive myself of the shame I felt for being in a situation whereby I received a lovable item, but was unable to love the following experiences at any great extent.  I must say that today I realize this.  What you are given that may embarrass you today will not embarrass you forever.  Keep that which is precious and discard only that which is never going to upset you or another person if it is removed from your hope.    I discarded a precious item.  Perhaps it was during a time of intense personal dissatisfaction and sadly inherent unruly discord.  But that said there is a lesson in every thing that may be more precious than that with which you have parted.  Friendship endures in the hand of a trusted alliance and if there is discord or bitterness, that too will dissapear someday.  It is important to foster benevolent experiences with your allies and friends.  Be careful to do you utmost to preserve your trust with people.  If you disagree with a presentation, be talented enough to endure the embarrassment that will someday be a fools thought.  It is with benevolence that precious items are presented to one another.  Be good and give time a chance to heal your troubles.   I can not replace this item and it did not have a sentimental affect.  I do realize that it likely wont be a factor in the trust we may or may not have at times in our lives.  But that said, it was a genuine gift and should have been kept in good faith.  I do not apologize to this fellow for the fact that I was troubled by his insincerity in later years, but I do apologize that I did not keep that which is beautiful to consider among friends, even in times of ambivilance and ingratitude among amiable thoughtful allies of times you have shared in the past.   Thanks.

What I threw away I now realize was insipid thoughts. The item, if they ever make another can be easily replaced and will have the same significance. It was not one of a kind in the universe but it was not easy to find another if I look for one. I do appreciate that it was not going to be in my day at that time, but placing an item in an unseen location is a simple way to anger yourself less and embarrass yourself not at all. It is a lesson and that is priceless.
