Suffering in an egg nog city dungeon

Internet security to me is being able to transmit the writing and work that you wish to transmit.  Yesterday, I composed a lengthy letter to a professional that took about 12-15 minutes.   It took some skill to describe the details at the orderly and useful prose I had chosen to submit.  I hit sent on my email and then I waited as the email dissapeared from the screen never to be sent.  At that very moment, my internet connection was interrupted and the email did not send.  Today it almost happened again.  I wrote a talk back and just before it dissapeared from the screen, I miraculously copied it on my clipboard.   What a miracle.   I got it to be secured just in the nick of time.  I am now going to be CONSERVATIVE and I believe that anytime I write more than 3 lines, I will try to copy to my clipboard.  Not an easy trick.  We just type and send.   I had to be fancy though.  I never imagine that this habit will stick as I am not thinking of "hell" on a routine basis.  So I managed to find a contraption to remind me of the power of copy to clipboard before sending.  I made use of the Chinese stamp pad that my Brother sent me many years ago for the first useful time.  My computer monitor now has a square red "mark" on the right hand lower side that has chinese characters that I will not be able to notice on a regular basis but I am clearly aware of it being shown.   This is my reminded to copy to clipboard.   Security trumps posterity.   Be careful out there!
