Coming up with aces



Letter to my brother written tonight.  A day of eureka for me, but I really always knew who I was, I just denied that it was really who I really knew myself to be.  Right?

Dear Brian,
I think I just may have made one of the most important discoveries of all my lifetime. I must tell you that I am not a true Tribe fan. Yes I do love the cheif wahoo and it sort of felt special to go to a game in Cleveland, but I have always known for some reason that Indians baseball just didn't do it for me. As a result, I must say that I never really ever got into baseball. It was a sport I just breezed by, never to inquire of the depth of the acheivements or the nature of the details of the dugout. I just never found it sensational.
But all that is about to change. I have a personal theory. Where you go to kindergarden determines your Major League affiliation. I must say that I have bought a Boston Red Sox hat in the past, but felt silly to have 2 different team hats and eventually was without it. I must say I always sort of enjoyed the Red Sox, but I never really was able to really grasp them being in a state far away and knowing I must support the Tribe now. Thats all good and fine. But I profess I never knew who I really was. I do believe this is the very reason that I was laughed at so many times by so many at Revere. I was just not the home team guy. Really, I wasn't. I could have easily remedied all of this I believe had I marked upon my own true Major League Allegiance in truth.
So that said, I am really thinking that baseball is going to be a sport I might actually really enjoy. And if we can make it to a Boston Cleveland game sometime, Im going to be right there. But I wont be wearing a Cleveland hat and I think thats who I really am. I am who I am! Be yourself!! Root for your true spirit!

ADDENDUM TO ABOVE- IF I AM EVER AT A CLEVELAND INDIANS VS SOX GAME IN CLEVELAND I WILL MOST CERTAINLY WEAR INDIANS TEAM WARE AND CAP.  I MUST SAY THAT YOU MUST ALWAYS ROOT FOR THE HOME TEAM. BUT WATCH OUT. IF IM AT FENWAY, ILL BE WEARING BOSTON LOGOS, EVEN IF MY DEAR CLEVELAND INDIANS ARE AT BAT.   FUN FUN FUN.
