Isaiah 11: a shoot shall grow out of the stump of Jesse

Isaiah 11 is a very intelligent bible chapter for it deals with your own capacity to qwell your own evil inclination.  The fact is that most all people seem to view this chapter as a clear indication of a "messiah" of sorts that is going to come and lead the world...

The leopard shall lie down with the kid...
The cow and bear shall graze...
A babe shall play over an adders hole...

No, I do not anticipate that this means peace in a perfect world that is coming just when G-d lets it come.  We can all hope for peace and prosperity among the nations.  Human inclinations are such that it is very unlikely that trust will exist among all peoples and that there will not be violence and strife in the foundations of this planet we exist.

But the simple fact is that if you repent and find trust in your G-d yourself, you might get to a point in your life when the lion like the ox shall eat straw...  The calf, the beast of prey and the fatling together.

In time, you too will be able to find solace in the writings you read in the bible and through a true philanthropic approach to giving and charity.  With charity, fasting and prayer, the evil decree is annulled.

So this prophesy is about you, not the world at large.

The shoot that grows out of the stump of Jesse is your own constructive soul.
Blessings in the future!
