Starlight in the eyes of many

I have had some interactions with ChaBaD in the past which are not particularly positive, but seeing the photograph of the Rabbis together in Brooklyn, I have a sense of hope for the future.
I wrote this letter to the Rabbi I previously documented under the blog entry "impurity and impertinence.

When you actually look like mensches, it is a pleasure to donate to the ChaBaD. This photograph was a nice photograph.
I hope that perhaps if you can come together as a group of leaders in G-ds name, you can indeed do your job as a group of rabbis.
So for your future, I have offered a donation to ChaBaD today.
I hope that your children grow up to learn that we are not a people of masked priorities and we do in fact stand for Torah.

I hope that the fellow whom I have negative experiences in the past will read my responsa to the fact that I am someone who has told him in the past that I have no plans to offer the ChaBaD any donations and consider that there is more at stake than his petty foolish campaign to fight for his rabbi friends narcissistic needs.   I did not anticipate making a donation ever again in my lifetime, but seeing that there is a plan by our Creator to bring us together as people of the Torah and the Laws of Moses, I think that it is a good donation to volunteer.   I am not keen on a society that discriminates against Torah Abiding Jews, but a show of faith is always a possiblity and if this group can show its face to the world and offer us a positive image of Jews living under Torah Law, I can indeed show them a positive bank check for their success.
