Sports are very particular. They are exciting and they are stimulating.
There are many all over the world that have some affiliation with some sport at some level in every year of their life. At the very least.
What are these sports and how do we connect with sports.
I have been doing some philosophical pondering this hour and I have arrived at the following insights and understanding.
Each sport touches the being in many different ways.
Baseball for example is in your heart.
The rest all have their own places in your being and they are as follows:
Baseball- in your heart.
Football- in your soul.
Hockey- in your spirit.
Basketball- in your handshake.
NASCAR- in your blood.
Soccer- in your shout.
Cricket- in your inhalation.
Rugby- in your jostle.
Tennis- in your bite.
Golf- in your arms.
And so on and so forth.
This pretty much covers most all of the major sports I can think of today.
I realize this is a very silly seeming sensibility to many but to me it strikes me as insight and intelligence and an understanding of where I am touched by any particular sport, what I am looking for in my sports viewing and what I might feel I want to choose in my teams that I befriend and fan.
I will add here for my mother and the ladies that may be in my life and perhaps many other connoisseurs that Ballet is in the temple. So ballet is actually a form of sports interest as well.
