Of course noone will dispute that
Darth Vader= Adolf Hitler (ym's)
But what of the others,
I have figured out a few.
2 more came to me tonight.
I think that R2D2 Represents all of the Jews who were killed in the holocaust. The blue and white motif should be self explanitory.
I think that with that, C3PO represents the righteous gentiles who hid the jews in the holocaust.
Others I will add here later.
Hammerhead is Fidel Castro.

Worries, Worries, Worries!
What is with Israel today? So much of our discourse is based on our worries. Not our concerns, but our Worries. We worry about how we observe every event. We worry about how we are going to say our prayers in the synagogue (note that there are many of the young jews who needlessly worry to the exact location of their tefillin to an extent that it interrupts their concentration. Was it a hair off center etc.).
Israel worries today.
I must say that the impetus for writing this entry in the blog is two fold today.
One I mentioned online today that I did not really think that our Creator wanted us to be all "electric free" for every shabbas for our entire lives. I wrote it on a forum on Vos Iz Neias and more than a few commented that I must pray for forgiveness this Yom Kippur or that I was clearly not a true "Ba'al Tschuvah". (one who makes return to our Laws).
So I thought tonight, I am not going to serve their worries. I am not going to do something just to appease the worried minds of the rest of our nation.
One particular conversation I had with myself was about the idea of looking at the "rebbe" Rabbi Schneerson's photograph before you say the shema when you go to bed. It was reported on a jewish blog forum this year that the practice of the young chabadniks today is to look at a photo of the esteemed rabbi before they go to bed at night when they are saying the shema. Not only does this particular practice have a flavor of idolatry and image worship, but I must say that to me, it strikes me as a convention used because they are truly afraid that they might "forget" their rebbe. So look at him when you say the shema at the end of your day before you sleep.
Another Worry.
I must say this, if you are worried that you are not going to think of someone you consider your greatest leader in the world for the rest of your life, perhaps he just did not have the true jurisprudence that our Creator afforded him in life to be our true leader and our true sage. I suggest that if you truly remember someone, it is in your mind and not just on your bookcase. I think that if you like your rabbi so much you want a photograph, that is fine. But to think of that rabbi when you are supposed to commit yourself to your Creator by saying the shema, you are completely off the pathway of the righteous and true servant of our Creator.
So there it is.
Israel today worries.
And it is mostly among the ultra orthodox and ChaBaD like aligned Jews today.
Not to say that worrying is horrible. It actually is though.
So I must say this. When I get a worry, I hear a voice in my mind that says "don't worry". I do that and therefore do not act on this "worry".
Believe it or not, I think that voice in my mind is Torah and that is how we strengthen our souls.
Photographs are not the currency for gevurah in my beliefs. Just a memoir or a memory.

Pink Floyd and Zephaniah
If you read in Zephaniah Chapter 1, there are different types of people described.
Those who serve Ba'al and those who swear by G-d, but also swear by Malcam. There are a few others listed such as those who have forsaken God and those who dont yet know Hashem.
I will suggest that the Pink Floyd Album deals with these categories.
Those who Serve Hashem- Sheep.
Those who swear by Hashem and also swear by Malcam- Dogs
Those who are the vestige of Ba'al- Pigs.
Just a thought. It may take some insight to arrive at this intelligent consideration, but I assure you that Pink Floyd is quite an amazing band and that their music is indeed quite a very orthodox listening experience. If you want to fight some evil in this planets sphere, put on some Floyd.

Discussing Behemoths
I must add here to this account that there is a sad nature among the Jewish people especially that they like to use the most horrible of existential creatures descriptions to describe living breathing human beings on this planet. This is the idea of a behemoth. Leviathans could be added though I have yet to hear someone refer to a human soul as a leviathan and expect that the going evil is to call them the behemoth.
A behemoth is a larger than life creature that is evil pure and pure. It is a monster and it will completely ruin anything in its midst.
The orthodox community has taken upon itself in many situations to call a human being a behemoth.
Not only is it heresy but it is completely unethical. It adds to the evil of the universe and it is a very horrible case of neglect and wicked hate.
I must add here that there are descriptions of Behemoths in the Jewish Prayer book. They are described in the book of Job chapter 40.
The Behemoth is idolatry and it is heresy. These things will destroy any person who is near them.

Exodus 23:19 and its figurative meanings as well
Exodus 23:19 reads
The choicest first fruit of your land shall you bring to the House of Hashem, your G-d; you shall not boil a kid in the milk of its mother.
The Jewish laws we follow clearly interpret this literally and thus no meat is eaten with milk. This is a literal meaning. That is good.
But I suggest that the reality of this verse is a figurative meaning as well.
To boil a kid in its mother's milk, you are basically cutting off the child from the healing nurturing of its mother. This allows for the kid or the baby of the beast to be cinched off from the spirit and blessings of its mother who is its nurturer and lifeline in its infancy. This will kill the kid.
This is taken literally as now we do not mix milk and meat together.
I feel that this verse is more likely meant to indicate that we must not deal treacherously with life itself.
This is a commandment.
To deal treacherously with life, we are basically saying that we have little regard for the soul of our own bodies and the bodies of any living thing.

Interpretation of Proverbs Chapter 5
I have read Proverbs 5 a few times, though it is not a chapter that I have accustomed myself in any great detail of interest until today. In fact, it fits my paradigm of interests very well. I had to cross reference the Art Scroll expanded book of Proverbs that gives an indepth review and dissertation on the Proverbs of Mishlei. I was probably one that understood the proverb in its depth in the past, but never translated it into terms that I have completely been able to teach and understand in my conscious thought.
The proverbs in Chapter 5 deal with Heresy. Nice topic huh?
Heresy is the forbidden woman. Either way it was a good read that took me about near an hour or so to learn from the Artscroll book today.
So although I had not thought that the bible really went into depth about Heresy overall, I did find that it really does. Of course it does. Its just not spelled out.
So on to more Heresy and Good Fortune.
Did you know that Good Fortune is a word that I have found in the bible in 2 places?
One place is in the book of Nahum (chapter 2).

The Rivalry
The rivalry is the most potent of sports experiences I have known. No its not the Red Sox and the Yankees which to me is a small but true rivalry that does exist but does not throw me off much at all. True I am a Sox fan, but I feel no animosity overall from the New Yorkers towards myself. Perhaps this is because I don't live in Boston but I really think that Baseball is a friendly sport.
No,
I speak of the Cleveland Browns vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers Rivalry which is really more of an all out War. Of course that is how it seems to a fellow like myself who went to school in college at a school right on the border of both Pittsburgh and Cleveland's viewing areas.
When I was in college at Youngstown State University, about 1/3 of the people were Browns fans, 1/3 were Pittsburgh fans, and about 1/3 I am told are San Francisco 49ers fans. The 49ers fans were due to owner Eddie Debartolo who was a resident of Youngstown, OH. Of course I admit I only knew one personal acquaintance who was a 49ers fan. The rest went either Orange or Black and Gold.
I must say that in Youngstown, I felt happy and safe as a Browns fan.
But that said, I must tell you that some of my Pittsburgh friends were among the nastiest of people when it came to discussing sports.
I have never been an arrogant fan of the sport and I have never walked around telling people that I "hate the Pittsburgh Steelers". Perhaps I really disliked them for a good while. Perhaps. But really, I just wanted to be able to cheer for the Browns and maintain my dignity.
It seemed to me that the Steelers fans I knew, well alot of them, would go around trying to persecute the idea of a Browns fan and they tried to embarrass some of us for being of the spirit of the Brown and Orange team.
I must say that I have one particular friend in the past who was so nasty that he has posted online that he "hates the Browns". Others have followed suit as I saw on one facebook post.
It is true that there is a rivalry. It it true that our friends in our own stadium are not going to be too keen on enjoying the presence of the other team except as competition to be beaten. That goes without saying. But truly, I can not go so far as to hate the other team.
Its professional football. They are all teams and I admit that every professional sports team has some meaning to my mind. I must say that I disagree that we should hate one another. Be glad that one another exists.
I just bought myself a Jerome Bettis Bobblehead display for my office/library. I have to say that it was a surprise to me that I was interested in a Steelers iconobilia memorabilia, but it seemed to be a good way to offer a handshake to the opposing team. True I am not going to put it in the center of my life, but I put it on my windowsill. It was quite expensive at $29 and I really splurged on it. But I want to be able to somehow mention to any Steelers fan that I own some of their teams iconobilia. It may seem like a babyish thing to do, but I really just want to be the smart alek Browns fan who you better not hate because I have your Jerome Bettis in my library. It might not seem that special to anyone and clearly, I am not a big fan of any Steelers Player.... But maybe I should be... Maybe its healthy to have some mutual respect and admiration for a player on an opposing team. I do not know all that much about Mr. Bettis, but I had the feeling that since I knew very little of him off the field, that might mean that hes really not that bad a guy. After all, Rothlisberger is really just not that orthodox in some of his ways. Hines Ward is a good guy, but I just couldn't get myself to having a Hines Ward Bobblehead. It might tease at my heart a little bit and make me privy to the Steelers.
Bettis felt like a better idea so now I have the unclean shaven Bettis on my windowsill. Its actually quite a nice Bobblehead and it is of the highest grade bobblehead quality.
So to the Steelers Fans out there: I challenge you to own a Browns Bobblehead. Bernie Kosar would be nice. So would any other Quarterback or even our star running back, Hillis. I think you might want to stay away from Josh Cribbs though, he might make your heart savvy towards our team and then you might stop being a rival and might sign on as a fan. Just kidding. Have at em all.

Differences among the main 3 religous faiths
I must say that today, I know the difference in how you feel as if you are a moslem, jew or christian.
Judaism requires you to fear God. You live in fear that you might do wrong or that you will have to pay for your wrongdoing. That is how God wants us to live. We must love and fear our Creator.
The other 2 religions have tried something similar, but they are vastly different.
Islam creates a sense that you are scared. You are scared of what your potential is for wrongdoing. You live scared all of your life and with good reason. If you commit a crime of theft, your hand can be cut off. Islam wants to scare you and scare you into being a believing moslem.
Christianity is very much the same in another manner.
Christians have a method that makes the believer live with fright.
People are frightened of saying anything contrary to their belief in Jesus.
All christian missionaries always use the tactic of trying to make someone else live with fright. You are basically frightened into being a christian and if you are a christian, you are afraid that if you do not tell the rest of the world that you are a christian and if you do not try to make them frightful of the idea of Jesus being your judge and your ultimate decider on who goes to heaven and who does not, you are going to be condemned in totality. This is a method to bring fright to the people and they do a good job trying this tactic all of the time and have always used it at every turn to try to bring any person, especially jews to christianity.
Fortunately, I will tell you that God is real and these frightening and scaring tactics do not work on nearly every Jewish person in this world. Many of the jews who might leave their religion for another faith do so and usually come back to judaism.
I find that most christians want to say to the jew: Repent now. And you will come to Jesus. Its only a matter of time before you will become a Jew for the Passion of the Jesus fellow.
All this is wicked and I propose that any time you find a christian missionary who refuses to allow you to live as a Jewish soul who believes in One God, you are going to be at an impass, but you will hold your course and the christian will always be stymied and cross.

Arrogance in the holy enclave
I must say that being a reform Jew, I have been secluded from some of the uglyness of the "religious" communities in my days. When I became more aware of people in the religious communities in my later 30s, I have learned that they have their own special system of some yiddish curses that they elicit to describe the unfortunate and unwelcome soul in their life.
I have since termed this Voodoo Judaism.
The most prevalent term that I have learned is the term "Nebach". This is a horrible name to call a fellow jew. It basically means that one should pity that person.
I disagree that this is the proper way for a Torah Jew to act and believe and conduct ones verbal affairs.
I was extremely offended when I was once called a Nebach at a dinner party becuase I chose to close my eyes for a moment or two during a conversation where the host was basically making a fuss about something or other.
In truth, the host implied to me that I was pitiful because I was in her home and that I did not wish to entertain all of her notions of sleaziness or stealthy conversation about something that is really not relevant or noteworthy in any sense. I needed a moment to escape from the situation. I heard her say "nebach" to me and then I was woken back into the moment and fit to show them that "I was wise and intelligent" in response. I am sure I did.
But this is VooDoo Judaism. Mark my words.

Give me a Mechitza or give me Death
The difference between having a mechitza and not having one is the difference between being a flock or a herd of jews. This is significant and people wonder why I wont go to a reform or conservative synagogue at all. I just don't want to be one of the herd.
Sports and their spiritual presence in your Being
Sports are very particular. They are exciting and they are stimulating.
There are many all over the world that have some affiliation with some sport at some level in every year of their life. At the very least.
What are these sports and how do we connect with sports.
I have been doing some philosophical pondering this hour and I have arrived at the following insights and understanding.
Each sport touches the being in many different ways.
Baseball for example is in your heart.
The rest all have their own places in your being and they are as follows:
Baseball- in your heart.
Football- in your soul.
Hockey- in your spirit.
Basketball- in your handshake.
NASCAR- in your blood.
Soccer- in your shout.
Cricket- in your inhalation.
Rugby- in your jostle.
Tennis- in your bite.
Golf- in your arms.
And so on and so forth.
This pretty much covers most all of the major sports I can think of today.
I realize this is a very silly seeming sensibility to many but to me it strikes me as insight and intelligence and an understanding of where I am touched by any particular sport, what I am looking for in my sports viewing and what I might feel I want to choose in my teams that I befriend and fan.
I will add here for my mother and the ladies that may be in my life and perhaps many other connoisseurs that Ballet is in the temple. So ballet is actually a form of sports interest as well.

Tsuris as the fools discontent
There exists in the Jewish world a concept called Tsuris. This is when everything seems to be going wrong in your life. It is considered by many to be a trepidition and a horror.
I will demonstrate to you that nothing could be further from the reality of any situation.
Tsuris is considered a punishment from our Creator.
True there is misfortune and bad outcomes in life, but tsuris is almost like a punishment and a horrible terrible situation that you just "didn't deserve". You were a good person, you did everything with goodness in your thoughts and you always were a responsible person.
Then why did everything start to go wrong?
I will tell you this. I do know for the facts that always exist that there is a God in this Universe and that God is a very sensitive and considerate and loving God.
God does not want anyone to suffer without any injustice.
Injustice is what God hates.
Then why does God give us tsuris... the horrible plague of pain, trouble and insanity that might exist to knock us all off the mission that we really know is our mission in life.
The reason is this:
You are not on your mission.
You are on the mission you have chosen for yourself that is not the mission that your Creator has chosen for you in your designs as God has designed you to be.
To be given tsuris is a great blessing if you understand its true purpose.
Tsuris is a trouble that leads you into other ways of thought, consideration, concern and priority.
It changes the course of history.
You may leave your job, your passions, your perceived contentment and your times of ease.
This is the reason.
The tsuris is a guide. This guide is to guide you along your spiritual pathway onto other and more intelligent and more relevant productive ways of life. You must look at your tsuris and ask yourself why did my God design me to suffer this way and what am I really designed to be doing on this planet.
I will demonstrate to you that nothing could be further from the reality of any situation.

Living with Vulgarities
I have to say that this morning, I took out my Viduy and spend some time reading the list of sins that our people may commit in our time. I had a laugh at the one about vulgarity. It reads that we sin in our speech by being vulgar. This is clearly easy to understand and one clearly can identify vulgar speech.
I am guilty of this this current year more than any other. I have decided to myself partly that if I am going to be sinful in one category, this is going to be it. I must say that I personally enjoy expressing myself with vulgarity in given situations. But that said, I must note that in my experiences in our Nation of Jewish Israelites, I am particularly aggreived by the actions of one particular jew who is a leader of our community and a Torah Scholar in esteem himself. Due to this persons egregious errors in adhering to Jewish law, I feel that it is my own priviledge to announce here in that I will not comply with the adherance to keeping my speech free of vulgarity until perhaps this fellow comes forth and admits his wrong doing and brings me back to the level of the others who are merited with being esteemed Torah Scholars. I am an outcast myself in a few bridges of our nation and if I am to be reenlisted among our people at the level that a Jewish Student of Torah merits, I will freely absolve myself from this act of speaking vulgarities. Of course, mind you, I am very careful of course to save them for their place and time; but in my own mind and smiling grin, I will continue to speak such vulgarities even by myself until the day of this reannealing takes place. Mark my words. Vulgarities are really not the biggest of sins and I do believe that a finely placed vulgarity does bring honor to our Jewish people if done in the most pleasant and amiable and friendly sort of way.
So I do not think I will include this among the changes I will be striving for in the upcoming year.

How I felt about finally making the transition to a "true" Shabbas Orientated Jew in March 2010
In March 2010, as I have reported on this site elsewhere, I made the 'transition' to being fully shabbas orientated, not using electricity or touching the lights, unscrewing the lights on the refrigerator, not using the computer, not spending any money anywhere, not driving and all the like. No television either!
I was very excited. At the time I was a congregant at a ChaBaD shul. After setting into my 'transition', I felt excited that I was finally a "good Jew" and that I was doing the same as the rabbi and his family.
To this, I mentioned to one of the rabbis sons that I was fully shabbas observant. I expected a major congratulations and a smile and maybe even a bigger gesture of some kind. The fellow basically said ok, did not ask any questions and walked away.
The rabbi, when I told him that I was going to be fully shabbas observant and that I would no longer be able to go to synagogue on saturday and friday night basically suggested to me rather than being happy of my new aspiration that he was baaically unhappy that I would no longer be visiting his shul to help him make minyan.
This was not the reception that I had hoped.
I never went to synagogue on saturday for a full year.
I was basically not very well received by a few and I must say that truly I felt I was doing the right thing and that I was finally a "good jew", but in truth, it was short lived.
Over the following year and then some, I made what I believe to be full repentance for some of my own transgressions of the past as well as what I regard as some pennance as well.
Today I am quite well, but the rabbi does not speak to me at all.
Oh well, I will keep shabbas as I believe it to be made for our people.
As for anyone reading this, please do not go to extremes to fit in or to carry the weight of Israel on your shoulders by keeping the ultra stringent and ultra 'religious' shabbas unless you really want. It is not in my beliefs a matter of truth and prosperity in so much as really, just be a good jew and enjoy your life and enjoy the shabbas day. Don't spend your whole day worrying about what you should and should not do.
If I ever sell my book collection, the very first book I will like to sell is the 3 volume set called the Shabbath Shemirath which "tells you in detail all the things that you can and can not do on the sabbath day".
Truly our Creator is not that stringent and not that crazy that he would wait until the late 20th century to finally release the "truth" about how to be a Shabbas orientated Jew.
Its all in the Torah and Tanakh.
Make sense? I hope it does.

Note to the Christians who say that Israel is no longer our Creators blessing and love
I will show you here that there is a movement alive in the christian world and actually also in the Islamic world that says that the Jewish bible says that the Jews have sinned and therefore we have christianity and islam to offset and replace Israel.
Is this so?
I will refer you to Jeremiah chapter 50.
In this chapter, Babylon is described as saying just the same thing and that they think that since God says that the Jews have sinned, they will not be responsible for any thing that they do to the Jewish people.
Read on.
Jeremiah says that the Lord will forgive all of the sins of some of his chosen people and they will be forgotten.
Read 50:17 to 20.
"In those days and at that time - the word of Hashem- the inquitiy of Israel will be sought but it will not be there, and the transgressions of Judah, but they will not be found; for I will forgive those whom I will leave over".
To those who wish to say that they will not incur guilt at persecuting Israel, Jeremiah 50:12 says that the final outcome of the nations is as a wilderness, a wasteland and a desert".
I so often am confronted by people of the christian and islamic faith who decry that Israel has sinned and it is documented in the Bible. So thus, there is Christianity and Islam to replace Israel.
Is that so?
Good luck with becoming your own Babylon on that term.

Convinced??? I might be....
I might be so convinced that the way we might truly find peace in the middle east is to have the necessary partys get together and smoke cigars together for an hour or two once every few weeks or so.
Why is this? I have noted that in the time that I have been a cigar smoker, and going to places where people smoke cigars, I have never noticed one argument, one whimsical contention or any other hatred or aggrandizement among those whom I have smoked with.
Poor meet with the rich.
Orthodox meet with the unorthodox.
Strong meet the weak and friendly meet the not so nice at times.
This all seems crazy of course, but consider that there really was a time that smoking together was associated with making peace.
I suggest that this is truly a way that people might be able to spend time together and appreciate ones company and even diligence.
So perhaps we need an Israeli leader and a Palestinian leader to get together and smoke with one another. No need to share pipes. Just a few cigars and a well ventilated room.
See what happens.
I happen to even have a palestinian friend whom I smoke with quite a bit and he and I seem to have a friendly encounter each time. Magic or just the effects of good tobacco. I wait to see if this is a theory or a real truth.

Kindling a flame on the Shabbas
Exodus 35:3 says "You shall not kindle fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day".
This is interesting.
The ultra religious have interrpreted that this means no lighting any flame anywhere anywhere anywhere.
I specifically see this verse written as "in your dwelling place".
This to me does not mean your car or your out doors.
I disagree with this halacha and I will not abide by the idea that we do not use electricity on shabbas becuase to the very simple minded, electricity seems like it is a flame. It is not.
So good for life and good for order in this universe. I can see any rational jew has a right to disagree with this ultra stringent lifestyle limiting order that makes no sense to me in any way in this day and age.
I am sure I will make many enemies among the ultra religious. I will assert that they never wanted to be my friend in the first place if this is a contention that they must express their own disdain into my life.
I will say this, I no longer feel that is is assur (forbidden) to drive a vehicle on shabbas.
In fact, if you have to go to the hospital, it would make little sense that it was prohibited in the first place.
I might turn on my television and I certainly will no longer be unscrewing the refridgerator light bulbs each friday afternoon. That is just absurd and I can not believe that Torah means we must do things that really really do seem silly to most people.
I did it for a year. Not anymore.
I realize now that this simple verse means "not in your dwelling".
So I wont be lighting my pipe lighter in my home on shabbas. This makes sense to me.
Sorry if this is difficult to comprehend for the ultra religious. I will still consider that I am orthodox and probably even more so as I am correctly obeying the written word exactly as it is written.
Thanks.

Kabbalist to the stars "doesnt touch money ever".

Story about the fellow named Rabbi Pinto who is increasingly becoming famous as a young 38 year old rabbi who guides the wealthy and powerful in their decisions on this planet for their betterment. Yes he is reputed to take fees in the tens of thousands of dollars for a counseling session.
This article reports that he esteems himself so high in merit that he will not look at or touch or think about monetary assets and he "does not own a thing". True this might be a fascinating way to go through life, I just do not esteem it to be truly orthodox or a way that our Torah proscribes for our people. Is he thinking he is higher and mightier than the regular jewish soul? Perhaps. The following is a comment I wrote on this article for the public viewing regarding the idea that a jew "never touch money". I do not mean to tear this fine fellow apart, but it seems like more of a gimmick to me than a true dance with the fire of Hashem. Thanks.

Professional Sports
I have come to the realization today that there is more to sports than I had previously understood.
In the past, we always regarded professional sports players as Wealthy and Well to do. True they have a large holding of the American Capital. But realize this.
Their capital gain is not a simple earning. It is actually a tribute that is given to these players for the play that they do on the field or court.
The idea that a fan can root for a sport is a major addition to our culture.
We root for the teams that we find inspiring and heartfelt.
But consider that those who you root for are not as rich as you really are.
Those who play the sport are claimants of a tribute. These people are not exactly "employees". A football player does not Work for the team he is contracted to play for. He PLAYS for that team.
Now understand that there is a distinction in this matter.
To play for a team, you are holding the teams banner and running with it all over the place.
True allegiance is to WORK for a team or an organization. Truely the players do have an alleigance that is remarkable, but to consider that one can change teams at any opportunity or scrutiny is a demonstration that their allegience is only to the flag that they carry up the field or down the court.

"It is done"
According the Christian New Testament, the fellow named Jesus is said to say this verse that "it is done" upon the end of his crucifixion on the cross. This is quite a startling revelation considering that Mr. Jesus is told to us to be "god in the flesh and blood". To say that "it is done" marks that your work is completely finished. If this Mr. Jesus was our G-d which I will tell you clearly he is not, it would indicate that G-ds work was done on this planet. This strikes me as asinine as clearly the work of G-ds creation is everlasting and goes on and on. When I finished writing a book, I never say "it is done". I say "I have completed my writing". There is a marked difference. For me to say that "it is done" might indicate that this work has no further use in my life or in the purpose of the work of our Creator. There is nothing that is "done and complete" in the universe when it comes to making a philosophical statement or an endeavor of intelligent aperture. So I would have to say that this idea that G-ds work is "done" by Mr. Jesus's time on the cross is just plain silliness at best. Sorry to all my devout christian friends. I can not indeed be a part of a silly situation of sillyness and silly ideas. Thanks.

The guy "doesn't even touch money at all"????
This is a major gimmick. Even the messiah would have touched money if he needed to spend cash. It is a mitzvah to spend money and be participating in the distribution and use of funds for good causes. This guy is a smug pirate of Jewish esteem and I think that it is clear that he will want to stay in the headlines as much as he can to get more people to give him more of that "money he wont touch". And if you think I am denigrating a fellow jew, think again. This guy denigrates our fellow yidden to suppose that holiness is associated with not touching a dollar bill. True you might not want to touch one on shabbas or yom tov of course unless dire circumstances, but the fact is that this guy is a schmendrick and he is if truly blessed, blessed by a faction of heaven that is not preparing us for the world to come, but preparing us for our own personal triumphs in this world. Does that yield a better place in the world to come? I do not know, but I personally have enough confidence in our Torahs guidance that I need not seek out a fellow like this for the answers I can find myself by study and diligence. Thanks.
