Oh no! I just heard that soccer game predicting Spanish Octopus Paul died this morning! I guess he was only born for one reason! To predict the soccer outcomes! And appearantly he did it really well! So long Paul, I hope you find a bite to eat in the hereafter of octopus fame!

Finding a good marble to add to your collection

I just decided to start collecting marbles. This is good fortune for sure. I bought some on ebay and then bought some nice new ones from a web page. They are quite fun at any age. I have found that I can name them whatever I want depending on their design. No person should be without a small marble collection right? If they say you've "lost your marbles" better to have a few around to say that is not so!

Bringing a dime to a candy store and asking for minestrone soup

Well, I went out to a bar this evening. Not my regular schedule but I think I'm going to add it on once in a while now. Found a sports bar in my vicinity, about 6 minutes from home. They serve bud light for $1.25 a few days a week. Not bad. I have about a 2-3 drink maximum as I drive home after an hour or so.
Its a good fortune to speak to anyone else on this planet, no matter what their ideas are about life. I dont expect a great crowd of scholarly peopel in the bars, but you never know. One guy talked about the civil war and another about Cigars. I met a fellow who graduated 3 years behind me in high school. Not a bad hour. I was reading this book called the Whiskey Rebels (David Liss). It motivated me to buy some whiskey and visit a few places of leisure activity.
